Teaching
At the Rock church of Christ, we offer Bible Classes for all ages. One of our top priorities as a congregation of God's people is to be growing in His Word.
At the Assemblies
Our regular classes meet on Sunday Mornings at 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. following a prayer. On Wednesday Nights, we begin first with class that goes from 7 p.m. until 7:45 p.m.
Sunday Mornings, the auditorium class is studying through Ezra, Nehemiah, & Esther with Paul Douthitt teaching the class. Wednesday Evenings, the auditorium class is studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians with Bob Lazenby teaching.
Recent Auditorium Classes have included The Books of the Minor Prophets, Revelation, Being a Disciple, & Worship. We are thankful at Rock to have multiple teachers
Outside of the Assemblies
Outside of normal scheduled Bible Studies, our congregation gets together frequently. We have singings & get-togethers to share in each other's company regularly and grow with one another. There is a Ladies' Bible Study that meets one Saturday a month (excluding May, June, July, & December) at the home of one of the members. We also offer small studies with one or two individuals from the congregation and those from the community as desired. Occasionally, we have small studies for the members together in order to grow.
New in 2022 -- we have begun a monthly home study on "Doing Things Well" in striving to pursue excellence in our devotion to God.
